About Mrs. Early:I am happy to be starting my sixth year teaching (and third year at MVMS!). I grew up in Napa, and moved to Marin County in 2012 for my first teaching position. I have a B.S. in Human Development from UC Davis, and I obtained my Multiple Subject and Education Specialist teaching credentials from Touro University California. In addition, I possess a master's degree in Special Education. I live in Petaluma with my husband, two cats, and our dog. In my spare time I like to read, shop, watch movies, and drink lots of coffee!
I have taught students in grades K-8 but I enjoy teaching middle school students the most! My teaching philosphy includes a strengths-based approach to instruction. I value each student's individuality and am committed to nurturing their growth and development. My class emphasizes organization skills, accountability, and goal setting. My objective as an academic support teacher is to help each student learn to maximize his or her strengths and minimize his or her weaknesses. Thank you for visiting! Mrs. Early |
